Soundview Millworks Current Projects
Restoration of a Classic Wooden Boat
This spring and summer Grant fully restored a 1976 Dyer 29 classic bass boat. Often called the gentleman's powerboat, dyers have been built since the late 1950's in several styles. The most graceful, the Dyer 29 Bass boat, features a flush foredeck accented by a new Mahogany windshield, pulpit, toe rails, cockpit comings, motor box and trim. The V-birth is appointed with new mahogany trim and bunks and sumbrella cushions and canvas. A custom teak, holly and Mahogany counter top and SS skink appoint the basic interior.

Storm Trysail Club Sailing
Grant Tankoos and Gary Jobson at the Storm Trysail Club Sailing foundation dinner, honoring the 1976 Fastnet crew of Ted Turner's TENASIOUS. Soundview Millworks donated to the organization which raises money to promote safety at sea and sportsman's ship through big boat racing.
