Tankoos opened Soundview Millworks in his hometown of Darien in 2008, and has been
producing fine and custom wood products with nautical themes ever
since. His desire to produce high quality and aesthetically pleasing
products effects every aspect of his craft, from selecting top quality
maple and mahogany timbers, to hand sanding each product personally.
His line of artisanal products is increasing steadily, and he has
received praised from magazines and nautical enthusiasts all over New
England including Yachting Magazine, Serendipity Magazine, Sail World, At Home Magazine, Fairfield County Magazine, Vineyard Vines Magazine, and Cooking Light Magazine. |
